INTrO
The Personal and Family Readiness program ensures active duty members, and those with families, are prepared to deploy in support of the Air Force mission. It is critical that personal issues and families are taken care of while the member is deployed. Personal and Family Readiness services include:

Key Spouse
- Each organization has a volunteer who has stepped up to be their Key Spouse. Key Spouses are integral parts of the Air Force family. Unit Commander's rely on their Key Spouses to assist in taking care of the unit's family members.

Spouse it up
- Spouse It Up is an event that allows spouses and children to get out of the house, meet other spouses and children, and enjoy a meal together. Spouse it Up normally begins at 10:30 AM and the location will depend on the theme (Bowling, Bingo in the Community Center, BBQ in Area D, etc.).

Reintegration
- Reintegration following a deployment or remote tour involves becoming reacquainted with the local unit, base, and for those married, their family. We are here to assist this important process.

Morale Calls (MORALE MINDER)
- Morale minder calls are made available for deployed members to ensure they can make contact with family and/or key members back at Aviano AB (see the details under Resources).

Car Care Because We Care (sponsored by the Air Force Aid Society)
- Spouses of deployed active duty Air Force members are authorized a free oil change and safety check on their primary vehicle. Members must be deployed for over 30 days and there is a limit of one service per deployment with a max of 2 per year.

DEPLOYED SPOUSES DINNER
- Deployed Spouses Dinnner is an event that allows spouses and children to get out of the house, meet other spouses and children, and enjoy a meal together at one of the dinning halls on base at no cost.

Phone Home(sponsored by the Air Force Aid Society)
- Air Force members that are deployed are entitled to a phone card which enables them to call home to their friends and/or family. Once members arrive at their deployed location, they should contact their First Sergeant for the issue of the phone card.
